Live Broadcasts
We have the capability to broadcast live from our venue the weddings, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, concerts and cultural events. The live broadcast is a transmission in real time of an event that takes place in our space and while is happening.
A team of cameras and sound engineers record images and audio of the event that is instantly transmitted through a web site over the internet. Only people with knowledge of such web address and a password can have access to it from any point in the world, provided that they have a computer with internet access.
According to our experience this can be a great service to relatives and friends that cannot attend the event-taking place in New York and who would enjoy watching it from the distance.
The exact cost will be determined in a meeting in which the party requesting the service and the technicians will analyze and agreed on the characteristics and cost of the service in each instance.
We can also provide a derivative of this service with the possibility of having a miniDV at the end of the night.
In the Fall of 2005 we also tested a more complex set-up, in collaboration with the New York based Hungarian Cultural Center, with a live program of the Bartok Vigil; a concert commemorating the anniversary of the composer�s death in 1945. The audience, watching the concert in our space, was broadcast by staff of the Orensanz Center via simulcast, by live webcam. The feed was inserted in real time into the Hungarian TV�s program in Budapest. The audience at the Orensanz Center watched the concert, in real time, conducted by Zoltan Kocsis in Budapest. The Hungarian Duna TV�s broadcast (including the insert image of our webcam feed) was sent back via satellite to New York and projected to a large screen set up at the Angel Orensanz Center.
Our center is equipped to accomodate special requests for the use high speed internet connections. Our dedicated line was used recently during the Webby Film and Video Award 2008 reception.
We have several large size plasma screens set up. that can be also be used for live broadcast in the space during your event.
